Description
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will manage all operations related to the carrying out the projects that will be entrusted to you, ranging from pre-construction, coordination, granting of subcontracts and management of construction sites under your authority. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and planning the implementation stages with the collaboration of the superintendent, identifying the challenges and managing them proactively;
- Establishing construction schedules and ensuring that set objectives are achieved;
- Demonstrating strong communication skills aimed at ensuring the smooth running of projects;
- Ensuring satisfaction and maintaining healthy relationships with customers;
- Exercising informed judgment in decision-making, in the management of contentious cases or constraints intrinsic to construction;
- Playing an active role in the technical coordination of project elements, interacting with professionals, and proposing solutions;
- Demonstrating leadership skills;
- Working as part of a team and managing multidisciplinary teams;
- Ensuring the financial management of the project (customer invoicing, approval of subcontractor and supplier invoicing , management of change orders, contingencies);
- Ensuring the monitoring of the quality control plan according to PREMIÈRE standards;
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement process.
Skills
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management
- Experience in carrying out industrial turnkey projects
- Mastery of MS Project software
- Perfectly bilingual written and spoken (French and English)
